Dear Parents,
As we conclude this month of the Rosary, we can reflect on the different events in Mary’s and Jesus’ lives. These reflections, connections, and prayers can fill us with joy and thanksgiving, and also give us strength during hard times.
While October comes to a close and we enter into a new month, let us offer this prayer together (adapted from a prayer on gatherandgrow.com) as we continue learning and living out our core values to Grow, Accomplish, Love, Serve, and Unite!
Dear God,
Thank you for the gift of education in every form. As we prepare for our learning, may confidence be our foundation, may grace be our guide, and may hope be our compass toward a brighter future. We pray that we have eyes to see the needs of those around us and a heart to love well. May we face each day with positivity knowing that no matter what comes our way, we do not have to face it alone.
We are confident that through You, our loving Father, your care for us will never change. May we show the same love and care for one another in all we say and do at school, at home, and in our community. AMEN.
--Mrs. Sandra Jimenez
PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCES
Thank you to our parents and teachers for taking the time to meet on Zoom to discuss students’ progress. Your partnership is KEY to our children’s growth and learning. Teachers have reached out to parents who were not able to keep their conference appointment. If you were not able to keep your appointment with your child’s teacher, please re-schedule your conference time as soon as possible.
HALLOWEEN
On Friday, October 29, students are welcome to come to school dressed in their Halloween costume. Please ensure that your child’s costume is age-appropriate, and keep any weapon-like costume accessories at home. If your child chooses not to come to school in costume, they should still wear their regular school uniform or Friday school sweats. And whether in costume or not, we will ALL be wearing our usual face masks!
If your child would like to share a Halloween treat with his/her class, please bring pre-packaged items (such as individually wrapped candy) that are safe and easy to distribute. Non-edible items, like pencils or stickers, are also acceptable!
Contact the school office or your child’s teacher with any questions. Thank you!
