Dear Parents,
Happy New Year!!! I pray that everyone enjoyed a blessed Christmas with loved ones. I am thankful for another year filled with hope, challenges, and growth. Together, let us start 2025 with a prayer:
Lord, You make all things new.
You bring hope alive in our hearts
And cause our Spirits to be born again.
Thank you for this new year,
For all the potential it holds.
Come and kindle in us a mighty flame
So that in our time, many will see the wonders of God
And live forever to praise Your glorious name.
AMEN.
--Mrs. Sandra Jimenez
THE LITURGICAL YEAR
During this time after Jesus’ birth, we remember the Feast of the Epiphany in the liturgical year, when the three Kings find the Holy Family and bring gifts to Jesus. Next week, we enter Ordinary Time on the liturgical calendar, taking us through the life of Christ and our own growth. We continue our prayers so that we continue to grow closer to Jesus!
SIMPLY UNIFORMS
The owner of Ruth’s Children’s Shoppe, our partner for our school uniforms, has retired! We are grateful to Ms. Ruth for her partnership with St. Peter’s School for many years.
Our new school uniform partner is SIMPLY UNIFORMS. If your child needs a new uniform skirt or jumper, please call Simply Uniforms at 7801 El Camino Real in Colma, call the store at 650.757.5722, or visit their website at www.simplyuniformscolma.com
Simply Uniforms carries all uniform pieces, except for our school uniform sweatshirts and Aztecs sweats, which you may continue to purchase at our school office. Besides the uniform skirt and jumper which are available at Simply Uniforms, you may also continue to purchase the navy slacks and white polo shirts at other stores where uniform pieces are sold. If you have any questions, please contact the school office.
ADMISSIONS FOR 2025-2026
We are currently accepting applications and conducting entrance assessments for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. If you know a family interested in applying, please have them call the school office or email Ms. Godoy at jgodoy@sanpedro.org to begin the application process. They may also start the application process through our school website at https://www.stpeterssf.org/how-to-apply
SCHOOL UNIFORMS
We live our core value to UNITE as students wear their school uniform with pride. Please remember that the complete daily uniform includes the plain white polo shirt, navy slacks or uniform skirt/jumper, green uniform sweatshirt, black or white socks, and solid black or solid white sneakers (tennis shoes).
On Fridays (unless there is a church service), students may wear the optional gray Aztecs hoodie, Aztecs sweatpants, and Aztecs T-shirt.
** To purchase the gray Aztecs sweats, obtain an order form in the school office.
For more details on the school uniform, refer to the Uniform section of the Parent-Student Handbook that was distributed on the first day of school, which is also available on the school website: http://www.stpeterssf.org/parents-students
Students who are out of uniform will receive a “Uniform Notice” to be signed by a parent or guardian, as a reminder about the uniform policy, and to help us unite as a school community!
