Sr. Marian rose power Fund
The Sr. Marian Rose Power Fund was established in 2020, in the spirit of her commitment to providing for the special needs of the School – anything from closing the gap between tuition and the costs of education, additional scholarship funding when a family experiences a hardship or items that are needed in the classroom. All gifts made in Sister’s honor are designated to this fund.
About Sister Marian Rose Power
Sister Marian Rose Power, RSM was welcomed to St. Peter’s in June of 1978 as principal. After ten years in that position she increased her development skills and went to Mexico to study Spanish and the Hispanic culture. On her return, Sister worked in the area of development for a year and then had the role of development director and vice principal for 25 years, working with Ms. Victoria Butler. During this time, Sister also had the joy of supporting the staff and parents in the sacramental preparation of their children. In the fall of 2013, Sister Marian Rose retired as vice principal and began her volunteer service in the area of development and sacramental preparation. Her motto is from the call of Jesus, ”Live in me as I live in you.”
